Medium Pressure Snail Fans
Medium-Pressure Snail Fans are designed for use in any ventilation system involving dusty air intakes, ventilation, drying, mechanical extraction, and systems containing dust, chips, or toxic gases. The X-OBF series are single-inlet, high-efficiency snail fans. These fans specify that the maximum temperature of the fluid being drawn in must be 120°C; modifications to the fan's construction are required for operation at higher temperatures.
The fan housings are made of S235 steel and all surfaces are coated with corrosion-resistant epoxy paint. For corrosive and high-temperature environments, stainless steel construction is also available. The fan drive can be selected from belt-pulley, direct-coupled, or coupling systems, providing flexibility to suit different application requirements.
Optionally, they can be manufactured with Ex-Proof (explosion-proof) features, which enhances the safety of fans for use in hazardous environments. Medium-Pressure Centrifugal Fans are ideal for meeting effective air transport and ventilation requirements, particularly in challenging environmental conditions such as dust, chips, and toxic gases.
