Double Wall Filter Hoods
Double-walled filtered hoods are designed for use in kitchens with intensive cooking areas that require a higher air exchange rate than conventional filtered hoods. These hoods perform the functions of expelling exhaust air from the space and supplying fresh air to the area. While expelling exhaust air to the outside environment through a duct system connected to the filter section, they also supply fresh air through ducts connected to the fan system.
These hoods provide fresh air to the kitchen with a homogeneous and low airflow velocity, both covering the hood and meeting the kitchen's fresh air requirements. Fresh air is blown vertically downward from beneath the hood, preventing polluted air from cooking units from escaping into the kitchen and directing it toward the exhaust side. By blowing towards the filter, it creates a thrust force on the polluted air coming from the cooking units and ensures better exhaust capture. This prevents the conditioned air in the surrounding area from being directed towards the hood, resulting in energy savings. Compared to classic filtered hoods, 30% less exhaust air is drawn in.
Hoods are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel, but can also be produced from galvanized or AISI 316 stainless steel upon customer request. The hood body is made from brushed-finish AISI 304 quality stainless steel, and the main components are assembled with leak-proof connections for easy installation. The corners of the hood are rounded, free of burrs, and feature a condensation channel. The bottom corners are welded together to prevent harmful water dripping.
General Features
- X Double-walled filtered hoods are used in kitchens with intensive cooking groups and high air exchange rates.
- X It is used to expel exhaust air from the premises and to supply fresh air to the neighborhood.
- X The exhaust air is discharged to the outside environment through the duct system connected to the filter section, while the ducts connected to the fan system supply fresh air to the neighborhood.
- X The hood has a condensation channel that surrounds it and blows air in three directions.
- X Fresh air is blown toward the space from the front surface at a low, uniform speed, creating an air curtain and saving energy.
- X Compared to classic filtered hoods, 30% less exhaust air is drawn in.
- X It is produced from AISI 304 stainless steel. It can also be produced from galvanized or AISI 316 stainless steel according to customer request.
- X The hood body is made of brushed-finish AISI 304-grade stainless steel and is mounted with leak-proof connections.
- X The corners of the hood are rounded and free of burrs; the lower corners are welded to prevent harmful water from dripping.
