Duct Type Electric Heater

Channel-Type Electric Heater is manufactured in compliance with European standards, bearing the CE mark. These devices comply with TS 2000 (EN 60335-1) and TS 10316 (EN 60204-1) standards and meet the requirements of European Directives EMC 89/336 and LVD 72/723. They can be manufactured in the desired standard spiral channel dimensions, with single-phase, two-phase, or three-phase options. They can be designed in steps or proportionally according to customer needs. The device has a double over-temperature cut-off circuit for safety and can be optionally equipped with a differential pressure switch. Produced as standard in IP 43 class, these heaters can also be manufactured in different IP classes upon request, ensuring suitability for various application conditions.

Improper Installation

When installing electric heaters in ducts, there must be a minimum distance of twice the diameter of the circular electric heater between the elbow, damper, fan, tee, adapter, and other equipment. This ensures a homogeneous air distribution over the resistors.

Selection Criteria

The air velocity inside the duct should not be less than 1.5 m/s.

The air velocity inside the duct should not exceed 8.0 m/s.

The maximum heater capacity for 220 volts is 2.0 kW.

The operating voltage for heaters above 2.0 kW is 380 volts.

The cable cross-section to be connected to the heater varies depending on the heater's capacity.
